This course will familiarize students with the basic digital tools of scanning (input), manipulation (Photoshop), and printing (output) required to make digital photographic prints. Students will learn how these tools might be used in their ongoing development of a personal vision through self-directed and assigned projects. Students will gain technical understanding of topics such as color calibration and device profiling, file types and file management, and advanced color correction terms and techniques.
