The festivities will engulf the lot directly in front of the school of art and will occur, rain or shine, on April 25th from 10AM to 8PM with an opening reception from 5PM - 8PM. Exploring America's fascination with games, GAME SHOW will engulf the School of Art's grounds with color, form, and creativity! Students enrolled in the School of Art's First Year Program will pay homage to game shows, board games, and game history in the form of experimental public works of art. The students will collaborate with their classmates, hybridizing popular culture with fine art to yield rich commentary (and comedy) in the format of large scale interactive games. The results will be an exciting blend of art-exhibition and spring festival. The grounds of the School of Art will house a spectacle to be remembered.
