Visiting Artist's Lecture: Todd Hido

Todd Hido will present a slide lecture on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 7:00 pm in 204 FAC. The event is free and open to the public. Todd Hido is a San Francisco-based artist whose work has been featured in Artforum, The New York Times Magazine, Doubletake, Metropolis, The Face, I-D, and most recently has appeared in Vanity Fair. His photographs are in the permanent collections of the Guggenheim Museum, New York, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, as well as in many other public and private collections. He is a recipient of an Eureka Fellowship. An award winning monograph of his work titled, House Hunting, was published by Nazraeli Press in 2001 and a companion monograph, Outskirts, was published in 2002. On-site Portfolio Review

Admission to Bowling Green State University as an art major, involves both admission to the University (University Application) and approval to the School of Art through a portfolio review. Advanced scheduled appointments are required. While it is not necessary to be fully accepted by the University at the time you schedule your portfolio review, it is recommended that your undergraduate application be on file when you come for your review. Ceramics Guest Artist: Steve Zawojski
November 21 through November 22, 2002

The Student Ceramics Organization is sponsoring Ceramics Guest Artist, Steve Zawojski on November 21st and 22nd. Thursday, 11/21/02, Zawojski will provide demonstrations from noon - 5 pm in the Ceramics Department, room 1218. A slide lecture will occur at 8:30 pm Thursday evening in room 1101 of the Fine Arts Center. Demonstrations will again be available on Friday, 11/22/02, from 9am - noon.

Lorenzo Pezzatini: Visiting Artist Lecture

Lorenzo Pezzatini, a public performance and installation artist and a faculty member at SACI currently living in Florence, will present his work in a 7:00pm lecture open to the public on Wednesday, November 20th in the Fine Arts Center room 2004.
