Teaching responsibilities include beginning-level though graduate drawing/painting courses.
Areas of Research/Artistic Focus
Known for highly-rendered drawings and paintings with the emotive quality of light as a primary concern. Recent work begins to pose questions regarding the nature of representation, particularly hyper-realist/photo-realist representation vs abstraction, and the place for analog work in a digital age.
Recent Accomplishments
The work is represented by Sugarman Gallery in Santa Fe and Robert Kidd Gallery in Birmingham, Michigan. A show of new work will take place at the Sugarman Gallery in August 2012.
