A student in the BFA/BA Art program must declare a specialization in the College of Arts & Sciences. Advisors are assigned with consideration to the degree and major declared by the student. Faculty advisors are assigned about 3 weeks after the start of the semester. Students should meet with their advisor at least once a semester. It is important to schedule your meeting at least 2 weeks prior to registering for new classes. Always bring your advising materials (junior audit checksheet, etc.) to each advising meeting.
