Leading Lights: BGSU Alumni Artists

August 30 through October 1, 2005

Where: Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery

This invitational exhibition features 33 successful artists in all stages of their careers. Spanning graduation dates from 1958 through 2003, the artists work includes remarkable diversity, from enormous paintings, to small brooches, to annual reports. The artists in this exhibition were selected by current BGSU art faculty members in each of the four divisions: 2-D, 3-D, Digital Arts and Design. Choosing from the hundreds of outstanding graduates over the years was a very difficult task, and many very successful graduates will have to wait for the next alumni show only because even the spectacular Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery cannot hold all of the work that the BGSU School of Art would like to show off. This exhibit was made possible with generous support from the BGSU Alumni Association, College of Arts & Sciences, Graduate College, School of Art and Medici Circle. Gallery hours: 10-4 Tue.-Sat., 1-4 Sun.
