(1) Dr. Nell Andrew, Assistant Professor of Modern Art History at the University of Georgia, Athens delivers the keynote address for the 5th Annual Undergraduate Symposium in Art History. (2011)

(2) Mary Wolfe, Art Historian discusses the meaning of much of the art work painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican. Michelangelo painted the ceiling between 1508 and 1512. The ceiling features a series of frescoes showing "God's Creation of Work," "God's Relationship with Mankind," and "Mankind's Fall from God's Grace." (2010)

(3) Walter Behrnes, Digital Artist. Walter Behrnes is a BGSU alumni that creates art while exploring philosophic issues. While making art, he poses a provocative questions revolving around the subject of consciousness and the self. Questions such as "Who am ''I'' ", and "How do I view the world?" help to define new dimensions in his work. In his lecture, he illustrated how this philosophical investigation directly affected the art he created.
